Garry McGuire, Jr.

Interim CEO

Garry McGuire is a senior operating executive with public and private company experience across automotive, connected car, media and transportation technology. McGuire’s twenty-year career has primarily been focused on the intersection of disruptive inflection points for legacy industries and companies. Garry leads Telenav’s insurance business as Chief Insurance Officer and Chairman of the Board of Motion Insurance. Prior to this role, Garry served as an advisor to the company on long-term strategy and corporate development.

McGuire is the former Chief Operating Officer of the Ford Direct retail division of Ford Motor Company, where he managed the North America dealer channel and marketing and advertising strategy. Garry is a former public company CEO, of RMG Networks, a transportation media and software company that he took public through a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). Earlier in his career, McGuire was the CEO of Icon Internet Ventures, President of Gyro Advertising, and Vice President of Compaq Computer Corp.

Garry received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton, in Dayton, Ohio and attended The Harvard Business School Executive Education Program in Strategic Marketing Management. McGuire is a member of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
